Sam Williams Scholarship Award
The Durham Civitan Club offers a scholarship award for the child, grandchild, step-child, or step-grandchild of current members of the Durham Civitan Club who have been members for at least one year.
The scholarship payment will be made directly to the College or University, Nursing School, or Technical Institution to which the recipient has been admitted.
Scholarship applications will be available at the first Club meeting in March. All scholarship applications must be in the hands of the Scholarship Committee by the first meeting in May. After that date, no applications will be accepted.
The scholarship(s) will be awarded at the first Club meeting in June (Meetings are held the second and fourth Thursdays monthly).
